Hi, I'm Chris

Why did I become an MBSR teacher?

ME/CFS, Fibromyalgia, Long Covid.

I found mindfulness because I was stuck in my life and suffered for over 6 years from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS/Fibromyalgia, similar to Long-Covid), a chronic illness for which there is no known cause and no medically recognized cure. Thanks to MBSR ( Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), I am now fully recovered.

Psychosomatics

On my healing path I discovered new perspectives on the one hand and on the other hand I learned that mind, body and emotions are inseparably connected. Strictly speaking, everything is just one. MBSR has shown me that how we respond to stressors can make all the difference to our well-being and health. The way we treat ourselves, others, and the world around us has a massive impact upon us – for better or for worse. And this was the decisive turning point on my path.

Dealing with Stress

I realized that I was often fighting or resisting unpleasant things internally. This only creates further pressure and stress. Based on these new insights, I practiced facing unpleasant things with acceptance, patience and understanding as best I could, and accepting them for what they are. Doing this regularly through formal and informal mindfulness practices results in a profound transformation of the body and mind, resulting in countless improvements, benefits and healing.

Learn Stress Resilience

Knowing from personal experience how mindfulness can truly change our lives for the better, my goal is to teach others a scientifically recognized method to reduce stress, find balance, and increase well-being.
